Told in "Percy's" amusing fashion. He somehow once again manages to include details - l mean details of the actual myths, not snarky remarks or references to 21st century stuff - left out of most tellings of the myths. About how such stupid things are done by the heroes, or how many felonies they commit. (Actually many felonious and stupid doings are included in the usual collections, it's just that most collectors don't point out how evil and stupid they are.) Who do they think they are? Greek gods or something? Reading these proves that Socrates the philosopher of old Athens was right to point out that they are terrible role models for the youth. And why Euripides the play writer had such an easy time writing his tragedies about them. One person found this helpful
