Customer ReviewHis start in life was in the bowels of a ship going to America. He mother died in that ship and as hard as his father tried, he could not make a good life in his new country. Angelo into street crime and met his best friend. They grew into very powerful gangsters. He came to an bar. He noticed a boy on the street as took him in. He taught him to be a gangster and he loved him but was not the kind of man to show it. Gabe, he young man grew up and in this heart he hated the violence.He told Angelo this and Angelo turned his back to him and said "go". Gabe managed to eventually go to college and was successful. He met a woman, feel in love and married. Angelo contacted him and they met at which time Angelo left him with files that showed that his wife had a past, as not a good one. This as terrible for Gabe but then he remembered his gangster upbringing and stayed with his wife happily. Angelo grew old and his power was taken and he was shot. Gabe went to Angeli's bedside and met a woman there who revealed things that changed his life. I loved this book, it was well written and the plot was filled with violence, murder but ended finally in forgiveness and redemption. Product details
